Introduction to the Usage Characteristics of Plastic Tanks for Containing Different Substances

Time:2026-10-17

Plastic barrels are corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, have excellent sealing performance, and are widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. They can be used for packaging of Class I, II, and III hazardous goods. Below, we will introduce the detailed usage characteristics of our factory’s plastic barrels for holding different substances.
The performance characteristics of plastic barrels for holding different substances:
1. The manual method of horizontal rolling and lateral rotation is also convenient for mechanical handling and loading/unloading at the dock. They can hold various chemical hazardous goods with densities below 1.4 g/cm³, such as Class II and Class III, and have good corrosion resistance. At the same time, they use multiple types of “O” type sealing rings to meet different filling requirements.
2. The residual amount after pouring is small, making it easy to clean, and the service life is long. Under normal filling, transportation, and loading/unloading conditions, they can be used for more than 20 times. This not only saves energy but also reduces usage costs.
3. The size complies with the requirements for international container transportation, is convenient for stacking, and… reliable. A 20-foot container can hold 80 units.
4. It can be used for hot filling. The general temperature should not exceed 60℃. After hot filling, the container should be left to cool completely and reach room temperature before the lid can be closed and stacking can be done. It has excellent performance in resisting climate conditions ranging from 50℃ above zero to 40℃ below zero.
5. If it is used to store chemical substances that are prone to decomposition, a lid with an exhaust function can be used to avoid the risk of overpressure during transportation, while also… maintaining the sealing performance of the liquid.
